After 10 years at the helm of Innovare, my dream of creating a multi-faceted construction company has been truly realised.

A focus on quality design and construction has earned Innovare a host of accolades and awards from both the Housing Industry and Master Builders Associations. It has also firmly placed the Innovare brand as one of the market leaders in quality design and construction.

Testimony to this fact, over the last year the company has gone through a significant period of growth and expansion, not only throughout Brisbane but other parts of Queensland including commercial fit-outs as far north as Mackay and Cairns.

I largely attribute this growth to a resolute commitment to our eye for detail and level of quality we provide to every project. Another strength of the business is always taking on new projects and setting new benchmarks.

When we started we were a construction company dedicated to style without cutting corners, which is an ideology that is shared by all within the business.

Right the way through from our apprentices, our employees understand how things are done and it is a business all of our staff are passionate about. They’re all very proud to work for Innovare.

Reflecting on the last 10 years, another strength of the company lies in its people and its encouragement of a ‘family style’ environment where everyone is supported to achieve their goals. The credit for Innovare’s success is not just for myself, it is my team’s, from apprentices all the way up to my management team.

We have got some apprentices who are at tradesman standing and contribute a lot to the business. Part of Innovare’s success can be attributed to being open minded and my staff having regular input into all facets of the business.

Despite having driven Innovare from a fledgling company to the outstanding success it is today, I see my role, is to inspire everyone as part of a team and to ensure everyone uses their skills to the best of their ability.

Utilising the company’s diverse talent pool, Innovare has been able to continually deliver their award-winning building solutions. There are clients who are building their first shop fit-out, and want their business to be a success.

There are people who are building their dream home and it is our role to guide them and deliver that vision as best we can.

We are building their dream and their lifestyle, and it is such a privilege to be involved.
